Nicola Holmes

Nicola completed her training with the YMCA and Yoga Professionals and began Willow Yoga in 2016 with the aim of making the physical and mental benefits of yoga attainable by everyone.  Her classes use clear instructions and demonstrations to allow one’s body to stretch, strengthen and realign.  The use of props like blocks, belts and chairs means that all poses are achievable by everyone whatever their level of flexibility/fitness/mobility or age.  Her belief is in using yoga in a therapeutic way to correct the body’s imbalances allowing a freer flow of energy within and combating aches and pains.

Her Chair yoga classes are suited to anyone who cannot get up and down from the floor unaided and provides all the benefits of regular yoga from the stability of a chair.  The age range for this class is mid 60’s to early 90’s and works to improve mobility, flexibility, balance and overall mental and physical wellbeing.

Nicola can be found in the clinic’s Studio at the following times for classes and also works 1-2-1 and in small groups if required.

Mixed ability yoga – Monday 18:00

Chair Yoga – Monday & Wednesday 10:45

When not teaching yoga Nicola is often in the reception taking care of appointments and ensuring the smooth running of the clinic.
