Maureen is a fully qualified and insured counsellor holding an advanced diploma in Humanistic Counselling and is a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists. She offers one-to-one counselling for adults and adolescents on a range of issues.  As well as working with private clients here at the Ananda Clinic, Maureen also works as a Forensic Counselling Practitioner within a prison setting for the charity, Starting Point (2014 –  to date).  Maureen spent six years working for Bromley Community Counselling Service as a counsellor and counselling assessor (2009-2015).  Two years with The Hospice in the Weald within their bereavement counselling team (2009-2011).  Hextable Secondary School, counselling adolescents age 11-18 years (2009).  In addition to this, Maureen has experience of working with addiction and has an understanding of the 12 Step Recovery Program, as well as having experience of working with survivors of domestic violence, rape and sexual abuse as an advocate and counsellor (CADVS 2003).  In March 2019 Maureen completed her Diploma in Trauma Therapy at the NAOS Institute.
